OUR ROAD DESK

Crewblomarblekisk is an independent, informative website about mountain-pass motorcycle routes: the roads themselves, the places to pause and the decisions that make a touring day manageable.

A road-first point of view

We treat a pass as a designed road with consequences. Gradient, camber, sight distance, drainage, retaining works and stopping opportunities shape the experience as much as the view. Our aim is to make those features easier to understand without turning a public road into a challenge or a promise of perfect conditions.

We distinguish lasting route context from information that can change. A pass’s broad geography and engineering character may remain useful over time; its opening status, weather, traffic, construction and local rules can change quickly. We encourage riders to consult official sources before departure and to follow signs and local instructions on the route.

Measured, useful, safety-conscious

Our writing is intended for experienced and aspiring touring riders. We favour clear preparation, realistic timing, considerate stops and a willingness to change a plan. We do not encourage speed, competition, risky photography or riding beyond a person’s comfort. A route description is not live navigation, professional training, mechanical advice or a substitute for official information.

The editorial desk welcomes thoughtful corrections and questions. Use the contact tool to prepare a message for your own review. It does not transmit messages or collect submissions through a server.
